Is the word previsível the same in Brazilian and European Portuguese?

Yes

The word is identical in spelling, grammar, and meaning in both Brazilian and Continental Portuguese. The only difference is pronunciation. In Brazil, the vowels are generally more open and the rhythm of speech is more melodic. In Portugal, unstressed vowels (such as the "e" in the first syllable) are often reduced, swallowed, or pronounced much more closed, giving the word a more "clipped" or staccato sound.

Brazilian Portuguese Examples:

  1. O resultado do jogo foi muito previsível. (The result of the game was very predictable.)
  2. Eu não achei o final do filme nada previsível. (I didn't find the end of the movie predictable at all.)
  3. É um comportamento previsível dele. (It is a predictable behavior of his.)
  4. É previsível que o ônibus atrase com o trânsito. (It is predictable that the bus will be late due to traffic.)
  5. O erro era totalmente previsível. (The error was totally foreseeable.)

Continental Portuguese Examples:
