Is the word morno the same in Brazilian and European Portuguese?

Yes.

The only differences between the use of "morno" in Brazilian Portuguese and Continental Portuguese are phonological (pronunciation). In Brazilian Portuguese, the unstressed final "o" is clearly pronounced as a /u/ sound. In Continental Portuguese, unstressed vowels are more frequently reduced, meaning the final "o" is much shorter, more closed, or nearly swallowed by the speaker.
