Is the word maquiamos the same in Brazilian and European Portuguese?

No

The difference is morphological and lexical. In Brazil, the verb used is maquiar, which leads to the conjugation maquiamos. In Portugal, the standard verb is maquilhar, which leads to the conjugation maquilamos. Furthermore, the noun for "makeup" differs: Brazilians say maquiagem, while Portuguese people say maquilhagem. In European Portuguese, a distinction is also made in writing between the present tense (maquilhamos) and the past tense (maquilhámos) using an accent, a distinction that does not exist in the Brazilian spelling of maquiamos.
