Is the word importados the same in Brazilian and European Portuguese?

Yes

The word "importados" is identical in meaning, spelling, and grammatical function in both Brazilian and Continental Portuguese. The only difference is pronunciation. In Brazilian Portuguese, vowels are typically more open and clearly articulated, even in unstressed syllables. In Continental Portuguese, unstressed vowels are often "reduced" or almost swallowed, making the word sound much more clipped and the "o" in the penultimate syllable much shorter and more closed.
