Is the word ficarei the same in Brazilian and European Portuguese?

In Brazilian Portuguese, "ficarei" is a formal, literary, or professional construction; using it in casual conversation can sound stiff, overly dramatic, or pretentious. Consequently, Brazilians almost always use the periphrastic future "vou ficar" in everyday speech. In Continental Portuguese, however, "ficarei" is a much more natural and common way to express the future in both spoken and written language.

Additionally, there is a difference in pronunciation. In Brazilian Portuguese, the unstressed "e" is often more open, and the "r" follows regional Brazilian patterns (such as a retroflex "r"). In Continental Portuguese, the unstressed "e" is often reduced or nearly silent (a schwa-like sound), and the "r" is typically a single tap.
