Is the word dourado the same in Brazilian and European Portuguese?

Yes

The word "dourado" is identical in meaning, spelling, and grammar in both Brazilian and Continental Portuguese. The only difference lies in pronunciation.

In Brazilian Portuguese, the vowels are generally more open and the rhythm of speech is more syllable-timed, meaning the "o" in "dourado" is pronounced clearly. In Continental Portuguese, unstressed vowels are much more "reduced" or closed. This means the final "o" in "dourado" is pronounced much more like a "u" (sounding almost like douradu), and the initial "o" may also be more closed.
