Is the word destas the same in Brazilian and European Portuguese?
Yes
There are no differences in meaning, grammar, or spelling between Brazilian and Continental Portuguese regarding the word "destas" (a contraction of the preposition de and the demonstrative pronoun estas). The only difference is pronunciation. In Brazilian Portuguese, the unstressed vowels are typically pronounced more clearly and "openly." In Continental Portuguese, there is a much higher degree of vowel reduction, meaning the unstressed vowels may sound much shorter, muffled, or almost disappear entirely.
